Stolen Vehicle, Assault On A Female, Dog Bite: Crimes In Davidson
Davidson police issued more than a dozen tickets for speeding last week. Here's a run down of crimes and citations reported in town.
DAVIDSON, NC — At least six crimes were reported to police by Davidson residents last week, and included a stolen car, assault on a female and stolen property, according to the most recent police blotter.
Davidson Police Department made one arrest last week. Adalid Garcia Ramos, 35, was arrested May 12 on Griffith Street, charged with DWI.
Here are the crimes reported to DPD May 11 through May 17, 2021:

- May 12 — simple assault, Lakeside Avenue
- May 13 — Dog bite, Claires Creek Lane
- May 14 — Larceny (felony), Damage to personal property, Beaty Stret
- May 14 — Communicating threats, Park Terrace
- May 17 — Simple assault, assault on a female, June Washam Road
- May 17 — Larceny of auto, Barra Row
DPD officers issued citations including the following charges May 11 through May 17, 2021:
- Speeding — 13
- Expired tag — 6
- Expired inspection — 3
- Failure to reduce speed to avoid collision — 2
- Failure to stop at sign/ light — 1
- Revoked tag — 2
- No operators license — 2
- No insurance — 1
