Car Goes Off Huntersville Road, Overturns With Person Inside: HFD
Drivers are urged to use caution after a car overturned along Huntersville-Concord Road, Huntersville Fire Department said.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville drivers were urged to use caution and yield to first responders following a midday accident that left a vehicle overturned with a person inside, according to Huntersville Fire.
The accident occurred in the 16900 block of Huntersville-Concord Road.
“Caller reporting a vehicle off the roadway, off the bridge and overturned in the water (a creek),” HFD said shortly before 1 p.m. “Callers reporting one person still inside the vehicle but above the water.”

Huntersville Fire’s Engine 3 responded to the scene for extrication, and one person was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries, HFD said.
