Child Car Seat Check Set For June 27 In Huntersville

If you'd like to make sure your child's car seat is installed correctly, Huntersville officers will be on hand to help at this event.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Every parent has been there at some point — bent over uncomfortably in the back seat, pushing fingers in seat creases searching for latch points while bouncing up and down and pulling at various straps to lash down a car seat.

Given the precious cargo, it's important to make sure car seats are properly installed. Huntersville Police have a series of community events offering free inspections and installation of car seats.

HPD will offer a Child Seat Check Wednesday, June 27 at Huntersville Fire Station 1, located at 110 S. Old Statesville Road, from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
