Child Car Seat Check Set For March 13 In Huntersville

Car seats can be tricky to install. Huntersville police are conducting a child car seat check this week for those who need help.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Children are precious cargo and it's important to make sure car seats are properly installed. Huntersville Police Department is offering parents an opportunity to make sure their car seats are properly installed Wednesday as part of a year-long series of community events offering free inspections and installation of car seats.

HPD will offer a Child Seat Check March 13 at Huntersville Fire Station 4, located at 8826 McIlwaine Road, from 9 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, March 13.
