Dog Injured After Being Hit By Car, Now Lost In Huntersville
Huntersville Police asked residents to be on the lookout for Frankie, a newly adopted dog who was hit by a car Tuesday near Tanner's Creek.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville Police asked residents to be on the lookout for an injured dog after he was struck by a vehicle and ran off Tuesday near Beatties Ford Road and Hambright Road.
The dog, who’s name is Frankie, is microchipped and newly adopted and may not respond to his name, HPD said in a Facebook post.
Frankie was wearing a collar at the time he escaped his home in the Tanner’s Creek neighborhood, police said.
