According to Huntersville Fire, the fire was reported in the 7000 block of April Mist Trail around 7:30 a.m. "Crews responded to the scene following a 911 hang-up," HFD said. "Fire was quickly controlled by Engines 2,4 &amp; ladder 4." All residents of the home and pets were accounted for as safe, it added.
