Huntersville: Best Place To Buy A Used Car In North Carolina?

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville is known as the home of winning NASCAR teams, the Carolina Renaissance Festival and now, the best place in all of North Carolina to get a screaming deal on a car — and more specifically, a Cadillac CTS, according to a new study.

Automotive buyer intelligence firm, Autolist.com ranked Huntersville as the most affordable city in North Carolina to buy a used vehicle on Black Friday. The company aggregates listings from hundreds of different sites and apps in building its online inventory.

The top five most affordable cities in North Carolina to purchase a used car during Black Friday:

1. Huntersville -- $785 below the North Carolina average
2. Charlotte -- $770 below the North Carolina average
3. Greensboro -- $400 below the North Carolina average
4. Raleigh -- $332 below the North Carolina average
5. Cary -- $258 below the North Carolina average

The study analyzed more than 83 million vehicles and 4.8 billion unique data points across vehicles nationwide to arrive at its findings.

"In Huntersville specifically, the study found that the Cadillac CTS is the most affordable vehicle to purchase, with prices $1,830 below North Carolina's average," according to Autolist.com.

1. Cadillac CTS
2. Lexus RX 350
3. GMC Sierra 1500
4. Toyota Tundra
5. Chevrolet Silverado 1500

"These vehicles exhibit average savings between $1,830 and $1,276 off average prices in North Carolina," the website reported. The study also found that the most affordable vehicles across North Carolina averaged a $1,943 to $561 savings compared to the national average.
