Huntersville Board Of Commissioners' Meeting To Be Held Virtually On April 3
These rules have been proposed for consideration by commissioners, however, one amendment will allow the board to hold virtual meetings.

The Huntersville Board of Commissioners will hold a special called meeting Friday at 12:00 p.m. (noon). This will be a brief in-person meeting for the purposes of adopting amendments to their Rules of Procedure. These rules have already been proposed for consideration by commissioners, however, one amendment will allow the board to hold virtual meetings.

As of now, Huntersville commissioners plan to hold this Monday’s regular board meeting on April 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. via virtual meeting. The meeting will be streamed on Facebook Live as usual. All public hearings scheduled for Monday night’s meeting will be cancelled to be rescheduled at a later date. No new public hearings will be called until further notice.
If you would like to speak at the upcoming meeting during public comment, please send your name and email address to townhall@huntersville.org to be added to the speaker’s list. The Town will use your email address to send you an email invitation from Ring Central. This will allow you to call in and/or access the meeting via audio chat to deliver your comments (the 3-minute time limit still applies).

For members of the public who don’t have internet access, there will be seats in the lobby for no more than 10 people to adhere to current social distancing guidance from Mecklenburg County and the CDC. Space will be available on a first come-first served basis. There will also be accommodations in the lobby for those wishing to make public comments.
Monday will be the town’s first time doing a virtual board meeting. We thank you in advance for your patience and support.
