NC School Heroes: How To Vote For Your Favorite Teacher
More than 300 teachers in Mecklenburg County have been nominated for a $10,000 prize. Here's how to vote.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — For everyone who wishes they could thank a teacher for all they do, the North Carolina Education Lottery is giving you a chance.
The NC School Heroes program, sponsored by the lottery, is rewarding 10 teachers and their public schools with $10,000 prizes. Statewide more than 6,000 teachers have been nominated for the prize, including 301 in Mecklenburg County.

- Select your county and school, and vote.
- Repeat daily.
Daily voting runs through March 31. Winners will be announced May 6.
