Search On For Construction Site Burglary Suspect In Huntersville

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police in Huntersville are asking for the community's help locating the driver of a white Ford Explorer who is a suspect in a recent construction site burglary.

The burglary occurred Sunday, June 20 shortly before 8 p.m. at an undisclosed location. "The suspect drove around security fencing and forced entry through glass window of office trailer and stole items from inside," HPD said.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a 2002-2010 white Ford Explorer with a sunroof, large trailer hitch and a large dent in the front driver's side quarter panel. The vehicle also has minor damage to the rear passenger bumper.

HPD said anyone with information about the incident or suspect's identity is asked to call the police department at 704-464-5518.
