Serious Accident on I-77 In Huntersville, Delays To Be Expected
Drivers should expect heavy traffic near the scene of the accident on Interstate 77 at Interstate 485 outer loop, fire officials said.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Drivers were told to expect delays as emergency crews responded to a serious traffic accident on Interstate 77 at Interstate 485 Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 11 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-77.
“Serious accident, no pin-in, however one priorirty patient. Expect heavy traffic on I-77 Southbound past the scene,” Huntersville Fire said.

Crews from Huntersville Fire Department, along with Long Creek Fire Department and Charlotte Fire Department responded to the scene.
