Shake Shack Opens Location In Huntersville: Details
The New York City burger chain's newest location in Huntersville will offer curbside pickup and delivery.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Shake Shack is coming to Huntersville. The iconic burger restaurant that created a cult-like following with its crinkle cut fries and milkshakes in New York City more than a decade ago is set to open a new Lake Norman location at 16633 Birkdale Commons Parkway Tuesday, March 2 at 11 a.m.
“Our Charlotte Shacks have an amazing energy and we are looking forward to bringing that same energy to Huntersville with this opening.” Andrew McCaughan, chief development officer of Shake Shack, said in a statement.
The restaurant said that its initial menu offerings at the Huntersville eatery will be limited, and will include the classic ShackBurger, fries and hand-spun shakes. Limited capacity dine-in service will be available, as well as an outdoor patio. To-go orders, and preorders for pickup or delivery my also be made thorough the Shack app.

"The Shack will also open with some exciting limited time offers such as two featured shakes Brownie Batter Hot Cocoa Shake and Black Sugar Vanilla Shake," the company said.
The first 100 customers on opening day will receive limited edition Shake Shack swag. In addition, $1 from every sandwich sold March 2 will be donated to Bags of Hope, which provides weekend meals to Lake Norman and Charlotte area children whose families suffer food security.

The Huntersville location, which is part of the new Birkdale Landing retail and office development, will be open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 11a.m. - 10 p.m.
