Suspect Wanted In Huntersville Stabbing Now In Custody: HPD
After what Huntersville Police described as an "intense search," the suspect wanted in the midday stabbing was taken into custody.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — After a nearly two-hour search, police in Huntersville took into custody a man they say is wanted in a stabbing at a 7-Eleven convenience store that left a victim with life threatening injuries.
The incident occurred shortly before noon at 7-Eleven located at 9701 Sam Furr Road at the Northcross Shopping Center in Huntersville.
"The victim was transported to the hospital with life [threatening] injuries and is currently in critical condition," HPD said.
Police described the suspect as a white man with a beard wearing a yellow bandana, a black hoodie and black pants. He was last seen traveling in the direction of Cornelius.

Shortly before 2 p.m., the suspect was taken into custody.
