FARGO, ND -- The nation is about to celebrate its 241st birthday, and it's time to watch the glorious explosions we know as fireworks. Events in the Fargo area range from simple fireworks shows to day-long extravaganzas.

Tuesday, July 4
- Bonanzaville 4th of July Celebration
- 7 a.m. FM Veterans 5k and 10k walk and run. More festivities at 10 a.m. in the pioneer village. 2 p.m. parade through the village. 7:30 p.m. the concert starts (a 21+ event), with a full bar and food vendors. Fireworks start at 10:30 p.m.

- Minnesota State University Moorhead Fireworks
- Nemzek Stadium. Event starts at 8:30 p.m., music starts at 9 p.m. Fireworks start at 10:30 p.m. Free admission.
