Holiday Travel: Airline Waivers For Northern Plains Weather
Airlines are offering travel waivers for affected passengers in affected states, including North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.

A major winter storm is threatening holiday travel for passengers going back home after Christmas Day, creating hazardous travel conditions Wednesday into Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
According to the National Weather Service, a storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind to much of the central and northern plains and to the upper midwest on Wednesday into Thursday. Over the southern plains, the NWS says there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
The NWS also predicts rain over the central plains that will move northeastward into the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley by Thursday.
