DAYTON, OH — Two organizers are planning to bring the Baby Trump blimp to Dayton ahead of the president's expected visit this week. The blimp, which depicts President Donald Trump as a baby in a diaper, was famously flown in London during a presidential visit overseas.

The Baby Trump blimp may have one additional feature for its Dayton appearance: a sign that says, "Stop being a baby. Stand up to the NRA!" The organizers said the blimp will be at 1126 South Main Street and Fairgrounds Avenue.

The campaign to secure the blimp and bring it to Dayton raised more than $3,000 in one day. The organizers, Carina Dani and Megan Baxter, said on their GoFundMe page they will donate the proceeds to victims of Sunday's mass shooting.

Trump is expected to visit Dayton on Wednesday, though his visit may be a controversial one. Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley said Trump's response to the attack has been "disappointing." She said the president's gaffe, referring to Dayton as Toledo in a recent speech, was another example of coastal residents failing to understand Ohio.
