City Of Dayton: How To Use $138 Million In Federal Funds? Share Your Ideas

The City of Dayton is seeking input from Dayton residents to help determine how it will use its share of the American Rescue Plan Act for the benefit of the community and its future.

In March of 2021, Congress approved and President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), with the goal of speeding the nation's recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of ARPA, the City of Dayton will receive $138 million, the largest grant in its history.

The City recognizes the unparalleled opportunity presented by ARPA and has developed a six-category framework for allocating the funds for maximum benefit. Specific project ideas within the framework are now sought from the community.

Residents are asked to complete a brief online survey at daytonohio.gov/arpadayton. The City will also hold a series of community meetings where ideas may be shared. Click on the link below to see the meeting dates/times and locations.
