Dayton Election Winners: City Commission, School Board
Unlike the Dayton City Commission race, there are plenty of new faces that will appear on the school board.

DAYTON, OH — There were few surprises Tuesday evening as incumbents Joey Williams and Jeff Mims Jr. retained their City Commission seats. They defeated challengers Challengers Darryl Fairchild and Shenise Turner-Sloss.
Williams was first elected to the City Commission in 2001 and was seeking his fifth term in office. Mims, also an incumbent, was also hoping to hold onto his seat. Fairchild lost his bid for a commission seat by about 208 votes two years ago, lost by a wider margin this time around. Turner-Sloss, who sought her first term on the Commission, came in fourth.
