Dayton Officials Ask Residents To Practice Physical Distancing When Visiting Parks
Refrain from using playground and basketball courts. These items are closed to prevent the spread of disease.

We believe parks can continue to be used in a safe manner that allows the community to enjoy the mental and physical health benefits these spaces provide. In all instances, we recommend people follow practice the following when visiting our parks:

- Refrain from using parks or trails if you are sick or exhibiting symptoms
- Follow CDC’s guidance on personal hygiene prior to and during use of parks or trails.
- Prepare for limited access to public restrooms or water fountains.
- Warn other users of your presence and step aside to let others pass.
- Follow the recommended size of no more than 10 people for social gatherings and maintain proper physical distance at all times.
- Observe CDC’s minimum recommended physical distancing of 6 feet from other individuals at all times.
- Refrain from using playground and basketball courts. These items are closed to prevent the spread of disease.
