COVID-19 Update For Washington County
The Marietta/Belpre Health Department, Memorial Health System, and Washington County Health Department share the latest information on COVID
MARIETTA, OH — This is a joint news release from The Marietta/Belpre Health Department, Memorial Health System, and Washington County Health Department on COVID-19.

Washington County has 5,213 COVID-19 cases, 198 hospitalizations, and 109 deaths to date. Marietta/Belpre Health Department and Washington County Health Department are currently monitoring 57 active cases. According to the Public Health Advisory Alert System, Washington County is now at Alert Level 2 (Orange). Washington County's COVID-19 PCR test positivity rate is 2.5%.

According to the Ohio Department of Health Vaccination Dashboard, 37.32% of Washington County residents and 42.22% of Ohioans received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 33.93% of Washington County residents and 36.96% of Ohioans received all CDC recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
CABL Public Transit — Serving Washington County Need is able to provide FREE transportation on CABL’s Dial-a-Ride system. Dial-a-Ride is a Demand Response system with curb to curb service five days a week, Monday-Friday. To schedule a ride please call 740-373-7671. Please tell the dispatcher that you are getting your vaccination when you call to schedule the ride.

COVID-19 vaccines are widely available, several local sites are offering walk-ins in addition to appointments. Everyone 12 years of age and older is eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination. Currently schedulded clinics are as follows:
