Marietta has always had a varied religious population. It has always been mostly Protestant. An interchurch survey in 1920 showed that there were 825 Trinity Methodists, 714 First Methodists, 712 First Baptists, 591 First Presbyterian, 711 Catholic, and 98 Jewish.

1. The owner of the downtown Marietta Mediterranean restaurant TLV has filed a lawsuit about the DORA. The City of Marietta has been named in the suit, so has Marietta Main Street, and its Executive Director Christie Thomas. (Patch)
2. The Sheriff's office reported that there was a big fight inside the Washington County Jail. (Patch)
3. No one was hurt in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 7 in Marietta. (WTAP)
4. Four Marietta College football players have been honored by D3football.com. Two Pioneers were named All-Americans, two were named All-Region. (Marietta College)
5. A bill to ban employers and schools from mandating vaccines has been put on hold. Lawmakers are making some changes while they work out some issues. (Statehouse News Bureau)

-Music in the Park will again be held on Thursday. The concert will be at Muskingum Park at 7 p.m. Details here.

-The city will be helping folks do some spring cleaning in the summer. This Friday they will be accepting and disposing of unwanted garbage, furniture, bicycles, toys, scrap lumber, carpet, doors, and windows. Details about their Cleanup Days Event can be found here.
