Mancan In Marietta Is Holding A Job Fair Today

MARIETTA, OH — Mancan is making a big push to get people employed in Marietta. The staffing agency will be holding a job fair on Monday. Their normal hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., but on Monday their doors will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lindsay Haas, branch manager at Mancan’s Marietta location says they’re accepting walk-in applications. “This is a way to get some people in the door that normally couldn’t make it during those hours.” She says they have a lot of new clients who need a lot of good, hard workers. “We have jobs starting at $15 an hour now.”
She says the job market is opening up big right now and they have an urgent need for workers. They’re looking for all levels of employees, from entry-level to professional. Some of the jobs they’re hiring for include production workers, machine operators, warehouse positions, landscaping, clerical, administrative, accounting, loan processing, collections, security manager, technician, foreman, and construction laborers. “You name it we’ve got it.”
Haas says you should apply with them because they’re the most established and well-known staffing agency in the Marietta area. She says they also have the lowest hiring hours. “That means someone can get a job with just 160 hours, which is just 4 weeks pretty much.” She says they have a lot of temp-to-hire opportunities. “This is a good way to get your foot in the door with a local agency and company to eventually lean into a career.”
She says come in to apply, they offer 401k, benefits for their employees, holiday pay. “You just need to come in with your two types of ID, no appointment necessary, Monday through Friday.” She says they’ll make you a resume if you need one. “We’ll help you on your job search to get you out there as quick as we can.”
