MARIETTA, OH — Here is the agenda for the June 3rd meeting of the Marietta City Council. It will be held at the Armory and on Facebook Live. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. this evening.

The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

  • Resolution No. 93 (20-21) A Resolution to adopt the tax budget for the City of Marietta, Ohio, for the calendar year 2022, and to provide for submission of the same to the Auditor of Washington County, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY. (SCALES)

  • Ordinance No. 228 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to specifically waive or modify the operation of Marietta City Ordinance Section 509.08 (b) Titled: DISTURBING THE PEACE, from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for the Adelphia Outdoor Concert Series dates Friday July 30, 2021-Saturday, July 31, 2021, Friday, August 27, 2021-Saturday, August 28, 2021 and Friday, October 1, 2021- Saturday, October 2, 2021.   • Ordinance No. 230 (20-21) An Ordinance to amend Chapter 353 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio titled Parking Violations Bureau as enacted by Ordinance No. 17 (20-21), and declaring an EMERGENCY. (GOSSETT)
  • Resolution No. 94 (20-21) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Mayor of the City of Marietta, Ohio to submit an application with the Ohio Development Services Agency, Office of Community Development, for a grant to conduct a Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program; to provide any additional information required in relation thereto; to act as the City’s representative in such matter; to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into an agreement with The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties, Ohio, for the implementation of said program upon the commitment of funds by the Ohio Department Services Agency; to approve the Policies and Procedures Manual to be used in the implementation of said program; and to establish the level of compensation to be paid to The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties, Ohio, for their services in the implementation of said program, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
