Marietta Men's Soccer Team Win, Women Lose
Thursday night the Marietta College men's soccer team beat Otterbein University 1-0 in overtime. The women's soccer team lost 0-2.

MARIETTA, OH — According to the Marietta College website, the Marietta College men's soccer team are currently undefeated. They went on the road to beat Otterbein University in overtime. Reggie Grayek shot the winning goal. This elevates the Marietta men to 2-0 for the season. Their Head Coach Joe Bergin says this is their first win against Otterbein in a few years and a road win to be proud of.
Unfortunately, their women's soccer team lost Thursday night in their first home game of the season. They faced off with Otterbein University and lost two goals to none.

This was both team's second game of the season and that moves the Cardinals up to 2-0 overall and drops the Pioneers to 0-2. Their Head Coach Sean Kaighin says even though his girls lost, there were key takeaways and major learning moments. He says their expectations are going to remain high for the rest of the season.
They will be playing at home again on Sunday (March 21), when they host Heidelberg University.
