MARIETTA, OH 45750

On 062221 AT 1127HRS, P64 was dispatched to 1103 Cisler Lane in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the complainant who advised a diamond pendant was taken from her residence. At this time the case remains under further investigation.

On 06/23/21 at around 1352 hours, P63 served Kristina Dawn Kirkbride a warrant at the Marietta Municipal Court. She was transported to the Washington County Jail without incident for failing to appear in court after driving under suspension.

At 2259 ON 06/23/21 S17, P32, P67 and P69 were dispatched to 309 Harmar Street to assist the Marietta Fire Department with a squad run involving an intoxicated subject who was acting erratic. The subject refused treatment and it was discovered that he had an active arrest warrant through Marietta Municipal Court for two counts of assault. Bryan Lee Eddy was arrested on the warrant and due to his actions during the arrest was also charged with resisting arrest and obstructing.

On June 25, 2021 P50 responded to the 300 block of Pike Street in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, P50 spoke to the complainant and found that she had been sexually and physically assaulted by her live-in boyfriend, Jason Whittaker. Whittaker was located and arrested for rape, abduction, and domestic violence.

On 06/26/2021 at 21:00 P52 stopped a gold Ford Escape for a registration violation. During the stop P52 seized a baggy of marijuana that also contained a (dab) wax marijuana. Troy E Mobberly, 34, was issued a citation.

21 007687 804 PIKE MARIETTA, OH
On 062721, P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and after the investigation it was learned that a female had failed to scan several items. When stopped it was found she had been previously trespassed from all Walmart properties. The female will be summoned on a charge of theft and criminal trespass.

On June 27,2021 AT 22:17 P52 was dispatched to the west side docks in the 500 block of Fort Street in reference to a car in the river. A fisherman located the car and is believed to have been there for sometime. MFD divers are attempting to recover it this morning.

On 06/28/21 at around 2010 hrs., P67 responded to Ridgewood Court in reference to an unruly juvenile. This case remains under investigation.

21 007740 804 PIKE MARIETTA, OH
On 06/28/21 P60 responded to Walmart reference a theft complaint. The subjects attempted to push out a cart with $743 in merchandise. They fled on foot into the surrounding area. The suspects were captured about two hours later when they came out of the wood and were spotted by some citizens. Brandon D Wills, 27, and Lindsay D Hill, 28, both of Newark, OH were arrested for theft and transported to the Washington County Jail.
