MARIETTA, OH — This is a message from Marietta Main Street concerning tonight's First Friday event. It should be noted that the DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) will be open for the first time tonight, and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. part of downtown Marietta will be an exemption to Ohio's open container law.

This month, we celebrate the art community in Marietta and beyond by highlighting public art, local art groups, local artists, art galleries, and more.
Each First Friday features Kid Central on the lawn of the Armory thanks to the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley and an arts tent thanks to Artsbridge, providing a focus on various artists and artforms. Make sure to swing by!
From lots of fun at the Armory thanks to title sponsor Perry & Associates to shops open late, an Artists Village, bars offering DORA drinks, and more, you’ll want to grab your friends and family to join us!

Highlights of this month's First Friday include: Kona Ice of the Mid-Ohio Valley at the Armory from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - the first 200 customers get their Kona Ice Klassic free thanks to Perry & Associates!
Live music from Justin Arthur from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from OYO - music from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Armory. In Harmar, find Rusty Stewart playing at Busy Bee Restaurant from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on their new outdoor patio.
Love vinyl? Swing by the Marietta Record Sale and find a dozen vendors selling used and new vinyl at the Armory.
Kid Central at the Armory, thanks to Artsbridge and the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, will once again provide great fun for kiddos with printmaking, art kit giveaways and more!
The Artists Village pop-up on Butler Street featuring nearly a dozen local artists and makers
Downtown’s DORA will be live from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the first time ever
Downtown shops, restaurants & more will be open late with incredible merchandise, great customer service, and special opportunities just for First Friday. Make sure to stroll on Front, Second, and Putnam Streets to support local until 9 p.m.!
