Washington County COVID-19 Update And Vaccination Clinics

The Marietta/Belpre Health Department, Memorial Health System, and Washington County Health Department share the latest information on COVID

MARIETTA, OH — Here are the latest numbers from the Marietta/Belpre Health Department, Memorial Health System, and Washington County Health Department on COVID-19.

Washington County has 5,153 COVID-19 cases, 198 hospitalizations, and 109 deaths to date. Marietta/Belpre Health Department and Washington County Health Department are currently monitoring 65 active cases. According to the Public Health Advisory Alert System, Washington County is now at Alert Level 1(Yellow).

According to the Ohio Department of Health Vaccination Dashboard, 36.72% of Washington County residents and 41.11% of Ohioans received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 32.89% of Washington County residents and 34.73% of Ohioans received all CDC recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccines are widely available, several local sites are offering walk-ins in addition to appointments. Everyone 16 years of age and older is eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination. Currently, scheduled clinics are as follows:
