1 Dead After Housefire Breaks Out In Euclid

Firefighters pulled a man from a second story window, but his injuries claimed his life.

EUCLID, OH — A man was killed during an early morning house fire in Euclid, according to reports.

The blaze broke out at a home on E. 194th St. on Monday, Fox 8 reported. A man was pulled from the home via a second story window. There's no word yet on what started the fire.

The man that was pulled from the home died from his injuries. He has not been identified.

The man lived alone in his home, according to News 5. The living room floor of his home collapsed in the blaze. Two ground ladders were used to reach the man's second floor window.

No firefighters were hurt during the blaze.
