5 Important Mayfield Schools Dates in February

MAYFIELD, OH - We're in the heart of winter, and the schedule for local school districts is starting to heat up. Parents and students have several upcoming events to look forward to, including parent-teacher conferences, two days off, and student orchestra competitions.

Besides the dates listed below, there are also a bevy of sporting events for students and parents to attend. Namely, it's basketball and wrestling season, so the online calendar is dotted with near daily events. If your child is interested in playing a sport, you may want to carve out some time to attend a match or game.

• College Credit Plus Meeting, Feb. 2 - Mayfield High School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Green Tie Gala, Feb. 11 - 6 p.m.
• Valentine's Day, Feb. 14 - Elementary Schools will have Valentine's Day parties, Gates Mill will have a Valentine's Day breakfast
• Professional Development Day (No classes for students), Feb. 17
• President's Day (No School), Feb. 20
