Chick-fil-A Coming To Mayfield Heights
The chicken restaurant will open another east side location, only its third in the Greater Cleveland area.

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — Chick-fil-A is coming to Mayfield Heights. The fast-food chicken restaurant will open a 5,000 square foot location in the Golden Gate Shopping Plaza. The new location is slated to open in the first quarter of 2019.
“The administration and residents are very excited to welcome Chick-fil-A to our vibrant community. We know they are a first-class operation and are committed to the communities they serve in addition to being a great addition to Golden Gate Shopping Center, one of our premier shopping and dining destinations,” said Mayor of Mayfield Heights Anthony DiCicco.
The restaurant will be located along Mayfield Road. The closest east side drive-through Chick-fil-A is in Warrensville Heights. The company also has a location inside Beachwood Place Mall.

The Golden Gate Shopping Center was purchased by Hornig Capital Partners, BD Capital and Hutensky Capital Partners in 2014. Since then, the storefronts in the plaza have undergone extensive renovation, including a $5 million capital improvement plan that concluded earlier this year. Chick-fil-A is the latest company to come to the renovated shopping area.
“Chick-fil-A has become a family-favorite restaurant across the country and we couldn’t be more excited to announce it will soon be opening its doors in the Golden Gate Shopping Center for all residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Daren W. Hornig of HH Golden Gate, on behalf of ownership of the property. “The restaurant’s arrival at Golden Gate illustrates our commitment to continually elevating the experience of the shopping center and providing visitors with the best retail and restaurant opportunities possible.”
