Chick-fil-A Officially Open In Mayfield Heights

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — The Mayfield Heights Chick-fil-A is now officially open. The store celebrated its grand opening on Thursday morning.

Mayfield Heights Mayor Anthony DiCicco was joined by city council members and the Mayfield Area Chamber of Commerce at the ribbon cutting on Thursday. The city officials sent their "best wishes for much success."

The restaurant is located at 6390 Mayfield Road, at the Golden Gate Plaza. The business held a pre-grand opening celebration on Wednesday, conducting a service trip to local non-profits.

"I am excited to bring Chick-fil-A to Mayfield Heights and have an opportunity to serve the community outside my restaurant," owner Billie Federer said last week. "I'm looking forward to creating more career opportunities for my team and being a positive influence to my community through random acts of kindness."

Chick-fil-A first announced it would come to Mayfield Heights in June 2018. The 5,000 square foot location will be open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. The next closest east side location for Chick-fil-A is inside Beachwood Place Mall.

The Golden Gate Shopping Center was purchased by Hornig Capital Partners, BD Capital and Hutensky Capital Partners in 2014. Since then, the storefronts in the plaza have undergone extensive renovation, including a $5 million capital improvement plan that concluded in 2018. Chick-fil-A is the latest company to come to the renovated shopping area.
