CodeRed Sign Up Session Today in Mayfield Village
Residents can get information about emergency notification system.

residents and businesses can sign up for the CodeRed emergency notification service from 2-6 p.m. today at the Community Center, 6621 Wilson Mills Rd.
People interested in CodeRed can get more information and assistance with the sign up process.
About 1,600 Mayfield Village phone numbers have been registered with the service, which was activated in February and provides messages by land-line phones, cell phones, texts and emails.

Police Chief Richard Edelman said CodeRed can be used for any public safety issue that arise, including emergency issues and weather alerts.
Village officials recommend that all businesses register, as well as individuals who have unlisted phone numbers, have changed phone numbers or addresses in the past year or who use a cell phone as their primary number.
