Deadly Mentor Car Crash: Victim Identified

Police said three people were involved in the accident, but a 25-year-old was killed. The other two people were OK, police said.

MENTOR, OH — Police have identified Andrew Sigl as the 25-year-old that was killed on Tuesday afternoon in a head-on car crash in Mentor. Investigators are still determining the cause and details of the accident, police said.

The collision happened on Center Street bridge, just north of Station Street, according to police. Sigl's Chevrolet reportedly drifted left of center and hit a Ford F150 pick-up truck head-on.

The two people inside the Ford were uninjured. They were both wearing seat belts, police said.

Sigl was rushed from the scene of the accident to Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby, but he was later pronounced dead, police said.
