MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — The Mayfield Heights City Council unanimously approved plans to build a Winking Lizard Tavern in the Eastgate Shopping Center during its May 9 meeting, reported Cleveland.com.
The building plans call for the construction of a free-standing 7,400-square foot location in the parking lot near Atlas Cinemas, reported Cleveland.com. The proposal was first brought to the council six months ago and raised concerns from a local group of senior citizens who fear the tavern will bring loud noise to the area.
