Fireworks, Live Music, Plane Ticket Raffles At Highland Heights Community Day

With a packed schedule of events, it could be easy to miss something at Highland Heights’ fourth annual Community Day.

Here are five things you won’t want to miss during the festival, which is Saturday,  July 27 from noon to 11 p.m. at Community Park.

• The festival is giving away four airplane tickets to a choice destination to the winner of the raffle. The second prize is $1,000. Tickets can be bought at City Hall at $1 apiece or six for $5.
• Let your kids run off some steam during the one-mile Kids Fun run at noon.
• A Cleveland Metro Life Flight helicopter will land between 2 and 4 p.m.
• If you didn’t get enough fireworks during Independence Day, the city’s biggest display of the year starts at 10 p.m.
• Admission and parking are free.
