Flooding Warning Issued for Chagrin River
The National Weather Service has issued a flooding warning for all of Cuyahoga County. The warning will be in effect until at least 5 p.m.

WILLOUGHBY, OH - The Chagrin River at Willoughby is expected to experience minor flooding this afternoon. In fact, all of Cuyahoga County is currently under a flooding warning, says the National Weather Service.
The NWS says the river will begin flooding once it eclipses 11 feet. According to US Geological Survey data, the river may have already surged past that point and is now rushing towards 12 feet.
Flooding is expected to subside this evening, though the NWS is warning drivers to be cautious on roadways that go near the river. Specifically, the NWS says that lowland flooding will occur in Daniels Park in Willoughby and along secondary roads near the Chagrin River.

The NWS reminds drivers that you should never drive your car through a flooded area. The water can be much deeper than it appears and you don't want to get trapped.
