Mayfield Heights Mayoral Election Results Nov. 7 2017

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — Residents in Mayfield Heights voted for a mayor Tuesday. The choice was between incumbent Anthony J. DiCicco and challenger Gayle M. Teresi, with DiCicco pulling out the win. There was also a vote on city council's at-large representatives.
DiCicco was appointed mayor of the city in Feb. 2013. He was then voted into the office by residents in Nov. 2013. He has now been re-elected to his position, according to the unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
DiCicco's campaign website focuses on the economic development of Mayfield Heights, particularly its appeal to small businesses.

Teresi, the lone challenger for mayor, is a longtime city council member and is currently serving as city council president.
Polls closed at 7:30 p.m. in Cuyahoga County. All precincts reported their votes by 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
