Mayfield Village Offers Variety of Exercise Classes
Yoga, meditation, chair exercise and line dancing sessions start soon.

Human Services Department is starting new sessions of basic yoga, meditation, chair exercise/seniorcize and line dancing classes.
Basic yoga for ages 16 an older is a six-week series from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Feb. 21. Students should wear exercise clothes and bring a blanket, yoga mat and firm cushion. Fee for the session is $54.
Meditation incorporates warm-ups and breathing exercises with a step-by-step relaxation process and meditation. Students should bring a blanket or throw, yoga mat and a firm cushion. Classes are from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting on Feb. 21. Fee for the series is $54.
Chair exercise/seniorcize will be offered from 8:45-9:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Feb. 20 to March 23 in cooperation with Communities in Motion. The class is for seniors who want to increase their heart rate and strengthen muscles. Students may attend two or three times per week – fees are $29 for twice a week and $39 for three times a week. Students can also drop-in for $4 per class.
Line dancing, also offered with Communities in Motion, will be from 10-11:15 a.m. Fridays from Feb. 24 to March 23. Fee is $25 for the five-week session or $5 per class.
