Police Blotter: Teenage Girl Pulled Free After Being Stuck in Mud

Police were called at 5:22 p.m. March 25 about a female stuck in mud up to her waist near a pond at a County Line Road residence. Police and fire were sent to the scene and freed a 15-year-old girl from the mud.
A caller at 8:24 p.m. March 21 said several people appeared to be lost walking along the Chagrin River. An officer found three people and took them back to their car in the Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation.
Police were called at 10:55 a.m. March 20 about damage to property owned by the Gates Mills Land Conservancy. A car hit and damaged a fence, tree and shrubs at the conservancy's property on Berkshire Road.

An accident was reported at 5:46 a.m. March 19 on SOM Center Road. No one was injured in the two-car crash. A 66-year-old Pepper Pike man was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
A caller at 8:24 p.m. March 21 reported damage to a Brigham Road residence. A car hit and damaged the garage door.

An employee called at 4:18 p.m. March 23 to report a suspicious person inside St. Francis Church. The man seemed confused and knocked over some candles. The 69-year-old Mayfield Heights man was taken to Hillcrest Hospital for an evaluation.
