Police Blotter: Armed Man Told Suspected Burglar was Just the Wind
Information supplied by the Highland Heights Police Department.

A Wilson Mills Road resident called at 11:16 p.m. Oct. 14 and said he heard someone trying to move his patio furniture and get in the house. He told police he has a permit for carrying a concealed weapon and was carrying a firearm. Police checked and told the man that the furniture was knocked over due to high winds.
A Burwick Road resident returned home from work at 5:10 p.m. Oct. 17 to find his front door open. Jewelry and cash were missing from the house.
Richmond Heights police relayed information at 12:28 a.m. Oct. 16 about a possible fight involving 20 people at Harry Buffalo on Highland Road. Police said the lot checked OK and restaurant management had no reports of a fight.
A man came to the police station at 11:03 a.m. Oct. 15 to complain about a Highland Road resident who had been running a generator for three weeks.
