Police Blotter: Deer Was Stuck in Strumbly Drive Yard

A Strumbly Drive resident called at 10:35 a.m. Jan. 15 and said he might have an injured deer in his yard. The animal was stuck under a gas meter. The deer was dragged out from the area and the resident said he'd call back if the animal didn't leave.
A caller at 8:06 p.m. Jan. 15 reported being involved in a hit-skip accident on Blakely Drive. The caller didn't know the direction taken by the other car, a dark-colored sports utility vehicle, in fleeing the scene. Police stopped the SUV on Blakely and said it had damage matching that on the caller's car.
A caller said a woman was running with traffic at 8:35 p.m. Jan. 15 on Aberdeen Boulevard and was not wearing reflective clothes. Police told the woman to run closer to the curb and wearing reflective clothing.
An officer talked to a suspicious man whose pants were wet at 1:52 p.m. Jan. 15 at North Greenway Court and Aberdeen Boulevard. The man said he was waiting for a ride.
A Cranbrook Drive woman called at 1:38 a.m. Jan. 15 and said she was arguing with her husband. He said the disagreement was verbal only, but she said he kicked her off the bed three times. Police talked to the couple and said the situation was calmed.
