Police Blotter: Driver Concerned Thump Might Have Been Dog
Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

A man called at 1:08 p.m. April 6 and said he heard a small thump under his car while driving on Ridgebury Boulevard. He said it might have been a small dog that had been on the side of the road. Police said the man was nervous that he might have hit the dog. Mayfield Heights police were asked to call if anyone reports something to that department.
A fire alarm went off at 2:52 a.m. April 8 at Pizzazz on SOM Center Road. There was a system error and the owner was contacted to reset the alarm.
A suspicious car was reported at 1:23 a.m. April 7 on Beta Drive. Police talked to a woman who said she had an argument with her husband and decided to leave her home. She was thinking about staying at the for the evening, but decided to go on her way.
The front desk clerk at Hilton Garden Inn called at 5:14 p.m. April 5 and said a man was back with two little girls and was asking patrons for money. The man came in again and took cookies, but employees were unable to get the license plate number on his car.
