Police Blotter: Freezer Problem Solved by Unknown Person

Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

An officer was talking to a Hanover Road resident at 10:48 a.m. Jan. 9 about a stand-up freezer with a door on it that was on the treelawn. As they were talking, someone came and took the freezer away.

A service department worker found a set of keys at 9:53 a.m. Jan. 9 at Wilson Mills and SOM Center Roads. A library card was attached and police were able to find the owner, a Mayfield Village resident.

A woman came to the police station at 9:32 a.m. Jan. 9 to complain that the hood of her car was damaged at a Wilson Mills Road car wash. She was told that it was a civil matter.

A driver was pulled over and warned about taking a short cut to avoid a traffic light at 11:28 p.m. Jan. 7 on SOM Center Road.
