Police Blotter: Girl on Bike Creeped Out by Stranger's Concern

A man came to the police station at 4:10 p.m. March 23 and said her 10-year-old daughter was approached at 5 p.m. March 22 on Meadowood Drive. She was riding her bicycle and the man was in a car and had a walkie-talkie. The girl said the man "creeped her out." Police talked to the girl and said the man had advised the girl to wear a helmet when she rides a bike. Her father was satisfied with that explanation.
A caller at 8:44 p.m. March 25 said a black dog was running loose in the Union Cemetery.
An officer on traffic patrol saw a group of kids on bicycles riding into the cemetery at 2:36 a.m. March 25 on SOM Center Road. The juveniles were released to relatives and warned not to return to the cemetery or be cited for trespassing.
A suspicious woman was walking at 12:27 a.m. March 25 on Wilson Mills Road. She told police she had an argument with her cousin and he left her on the freeway. While police were there, her parents arrived to pick her up.
