Police Blotter: Man Taking Note of Who May Be Following Him
Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

A young male and female, both wearing dark clothes, were taking down license plate numbers on a notepad at 11:03 p.m. April 13 on Stratford Court and a caller thought this was suspicious. The man told police he was writing down plates because he thought he was being followed.
A man called police at 9:52 a.m. April 15 because a Village Trail woman had not returned his messages. He was hired to put a device on her car so she would have to blow into it before it started and she had not returned the device for downloads and calibrations. A probation officer told him to file a theft report.
A deer with a broken front leg was spotted under a tree at 6:28 p.m. April 11 on Beta Drive. An officer was told it was OK to put the animal down as long as no one else was around. He did so and the service department was called to pick it up.
Police were told at 2:10 a.m. April 11 that a possible drunken driver was headed southbound on Interstate 271. An officer pulled the woman over and she was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.
