Police Blotter: Officer Tells Girl the Party's Over

A caller said at 9:31 p.m. Nov. 22 said a group of juveniles were living in a Golden Gate Boulevard apartment without adult supervision and were running up and down the hallway. The caller said there is an ongoing issue with kids having parties and hanging out at all hours. Police talked to a 16-year-old girl and said it would be in her interest to break up the party. An officer also said he was going to call her mother.

A Woodhurst Avenue woman called at 10:53 p.m. Nov. 22 and said she just got out of the hospital and discovered someone stole two CD cases and several narcotics from her car.

A Marnell Avenue woman said at 9:37 p.m. Nov. 22 that she had video footage of her ex-boyfriend breaking into her apartment and wanted to talk to an officer.

A woman said a man wearing a construction helmet was asking for money at 7:52 p.m. Nov. 22 at Giant Eagle on Mayfield Road. He claimed his car broke down, but she said the same man scammed her out of money previously under that pretense. The man was gone when police arrived.

A Marnell Avenue woman called at 12:06 a.m. Nov. 22 and said her ex-boyfriend came over on Nov. 19 and threw a child's scooter and broke her front window when she refused to let him in. She wanted the information logged so management doesn't blame her for the damage, but she refused to give police the ex-boyfriend's name.

A young boy in dark clothes was under the bridges at Marsol Road and Interstate 271 at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 21 and was pretending to be shooting at cars going by. He appeared to have a BB gun, a caller said. Police were unable to find the boy.
