Police Blotter: Owner of Flooded Building Wanted Water Shut Off

The owner of a Brainard Road building wanted the fire department to shut off water because of flooding at 11:22 a.m. Dec. 7.

A squad was requested for a 44-year-old man locked in a car at 2:40 p.m. Dec. 7 on Rose Boulevard. The caller wasn't sure if the man was breathing. The man was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.

A Charles Place woman called at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 6 and said her TV went out and she smelled an odd odor. She did not see or smell smoke.

A Wilson Mills Road resident called at 11:25 p.m. Dec. 6 and said his sister was drunk and out of control and another family member was holding her on the ground. Police said the situation was adjusted and the woman went to bed for the night. The woman had a warrant from Shaker Heights, which only wanted officers to tell her it was active.
