Police Blotter: Parent Uses Internet to Check Up on Daughter

A parent said at 2:10 a.m. Jan. 1 that her 17-year-old daughter was at her father's house on South Stonehaven Drive and posted on the Internet that she was drunk. The woman also said she thought her daughter had been driving. Police talked to the girl and said she checked OK.
A caller reported an erratic driver at 3:39 a.m. Jan. 1 on Castlehill Drive. Police stopped the car and said the man was delivering newspapers.
A Davidson Drive resident called at 9:24 a.m. Dec. 31 to report that a skunk was sleeping in his front yard and might be sick. An animal service was called to handle the problem.
A Barkston Drive woman called police at 2:03 p.m. Dec. 31 because a man in a car was taking pictures of her house. She told police she talked to the man and got his business card.
A Kenbridge Drive woman called at 10:01 p.m. Dec. 30 because someone was having pizzas delivered to her house. She thought the culprit might be someone who attends school with her two sons. She turned three pizza deliveries away and called other restaurants.
