Police Blotter: Party Time Over For Woman With Bunch of Balloons

Richmond Heights police called at 9:40 p.m. Feb. 21 after being told about a possible intoxicated driver heading east on Wilson Mills Road. The car was being driven by a woman and there were a bunch of balloons inside. Police spotted the car and pulled it over near Denny's. The driver was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.

A man called at 6:47 a.m. Feb. 22 and said he was cut off on Wilson Mills Road at Brainard Road by a bronze Ford Taurus being driven erratically. Police were unable to find the Taurus.

A Highland Road resident called at 12:23 p.m. Feb. 22 because he thought there was a skunk living under his deck. Fire department personnel were sent to check for gas, but that apparently wasn't the problem because an animal services company was then called.

A Highland Road resident called at 7:49 a.m. Feb. 21 and said he wanted to turn in an old handgun.

The manager of Harry Buffalo reported at 12:42 a.m. Feb. 21 that money was missing from the restaurant.
