Police Blotter: Patrol Car Spun Out on Highway

A Dodge Charger spun out on Interstate 271 and smoke was coming from the engine, a caller reported at 10:39 p.m. Nov. 21. Police said the Dodge was the Mayfield Heights Police Department traffic car and it checked OK.
A caller at 5:24 p.m. Nov. 22 reported that a car was all over the road at Aberdeen Boulevard and Bishop Road. Police were unable to find the car and there was no match for the license plate information provided.
There was a suspicious car in a parking lot at 5:01 a.m. Nov. 21 on Wilson Mills Road. The person inside the car was a Dick's employee and he arrived early for work.
A caller reported an injured deer that barely crossed Aberdeen Boulevard at 12:58 p.m. Nov. 20. Police checked and said the deer trotted away.
